nut song
this one was a process piece that uses groupings of syllables from different nuts i.e. cashew, pistachio, macadamia. the groupings start with single syllables at first, then increase rhythmic possibilities, until the nut names are sort of recognizable subliminally. the perfomers repeat the grouping as many times as they want, and move onto the next grouping whenever they want. (like Terry Riley's in C)
mentioned in the Dartmouth article about the 2007 new musics festival

Kim Tran, piano
